These terms are the agreement between you and WeWillExplain (“we”, “us”) for using this website. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

1. Using the site

You may read, link to and share our explainers for personal, non-commercial use, as described in our content usage page. You agree not to misuse the site, including by trying to break or overload it, scraping it at a rate that harms it, probing for security weaknesses, or using it to break the law.

2. Accounts

  • You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent where you live, if higher).
  • Give accurate information and keep your sign-in details safe. You are responsible for activity on your account.
  • You can delete your account at any time from your account page.
  • We may suspend or remove accounts that break these terms or our community guidelines.

3. Comments and chatroom messages

You are responsible for what you post. Follow the community guidelines. Comments are reviewed before they appear, and we may edit, hide or remove any comment or message, and mute or ban users, at our discretion. Chatroom messages are public and only recent messages are kept.

You keep ownership of what you write. By posting, you give us a free, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to display, store and reproduce it on and in connection with the site, for as long as it is posted. You promise that you have the right to post it and that it does not break the law or anyone else’s rights.

4. Our content

The explainers, text, diagrams, illustrations, logos and design on this site belong to us or our contributors and are protected by copyright. Except as the content usage page allows, you may not copy, republish or sell them without written permission.

5. Links to other sites

We may link to third-party sites. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or practices.

6. No professional advice; no warranty

Explainers are for general information and education. They are not professional, legal, medical, financial or security advice, so please see the disclaimer. The site and everything on it is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted availability.
